Empowering The Motherhood Community

Giving back to mothers who give so much

Our Aim

Our aim and mission goes beyond simply providing basic necessities and health education to women. We are committed to equipping them with the tools and knowledge to start their own businesses, empowering them to raise their children free from the burden of poverty. We recognise the unique challenges that mothers face in Uganda’s slums and rural villages, and we are deeply aware that not all mothers have access to the same opportunities and support.

Through the proceeds of THANK YOU MAMA EVENT, we give back to the motherhood community in several meaningful ways:

i) Supporting less privileged mothers by visiting them directly and providing essentials such as clothing, food, and toiletries. Following our first event, we conducted community outreach in Kamwokya, a slum in Kampala, as well as at Sanyu Babies Home (orphanage). We personally delivered care packages to these incredible women as a gesture of gratitude and encouragement.

ii) Allocating part of our proceeds to support children born with physical challenges or disabilities, helping ease the burden on their families.

iii) Promoting the sacred value of motherhood, with the aim of inspiring more women to embrace motherhood as a divine gift. We hope this encouragement helps reduce rates of abortion and the abandonment of children.

iv) Honouring and celebrating mothers for the immense role they play in shaping families, communities, and society at large.

v) Uplifting young, single, and struggling mothers, encouraging them not to give up, and championing female empowerment through shared stories and community support.

vi) Educating mothers on vital topics including health, wellness, and entrepreneurship, so they are empowered to build sustainable futures for themselves and their children.

Goals and Ambitions

Each and every year, we aim to reach out to mothers and their children who are living in the most destitute slum areas and villages, in and around Kampala. Our goals and ambitions are as follows:

i) To increase our outreach to the less privileged mothers and their children so that we are reaching out to a total of five thousand women and children through our health program by 2030

ii) By 2025 we want to partner with at least 10 other charities and NGOs who are helping women and children. So that we can highlight the issue of over population through educating women on family planning, and reducing the number of early deaths by raising awareness of diseases and how to treat them naturally through our health education programme

iv) To successfully host the annual Thank You Mama Mother's Day event

v) To host at least 4 Natural Health Seminars each year
